ubuntu-based de-colonial journey
Every Wednesday from 30th April 2025 - 11th June 2025, 18h00-20h30 CET
Hello fellow co-travellers,
In this 7-week Ubuntu-based decolonial journey, we explore the impact of colonisation on our bodies, minds, family systems, communities, and worldview through an intersectional lens of oppression. In a world entangled in poly-crises, we will examine the assumptions, investments, and desires that sustain these challenges. We bring together theory and practice, rooted in Ubuntu, and inspired from decolonial futures, deep adaptation, and inner process work.
We invite these learning outcomes:
Who is it for?
Who are we?

We invite these learning outcomes:
- We will uncover colonial patterns and entitlements rooted in fear and scarcity.
- We learn to become more comfortable with uncertainty and discomfort.
- We question the sources of authority shaping our choices and beliefs
- We compost our shit together and allow grief for harm caused.
- We learn what Decentre, Disarm, Dethrone, and Disinvest are.
- We envision the kind of ancestor we aspire to become.
Who is it for?
- For those who dare to dream a world where we are learning to dismantle colonial frames
- For changemakers and bridge-builders weaving justice and beyond-justice into the fabric of life
- For educators and architects of communities
- For those wanting to go deep into inner and outer de-colonial process

JOURNEY THROUGH (What We May Invite):
Mapping Our Predicament: We explore the deep impacts of colonization—on our bodies, minds, families, communities, and worldviews. Through intersectional lenses and indigenous frameworks, we uncover patterns of fear, scarcity, and unworthiness, examining how they shape our existence and relationship to the world.
Inviting Maplessness: Together, we explore the courage it takes to have no map and become more comfortable with uncertainty and discomfort. We question who holds authority on our choices and desires.
Grieving the Harm We Have Caused: We confront the harm we've caused through collective grieving, finding transformation, accountability, and deeper belonging as we navigate beyond guilt.
Composting Shit Together: Through "Decentre, Disarm, Dethrone, and Disinvest" (DDDD), we challenge entrenched systems of colonialism and capitalism. By welcoming resistance and dismantling, we explore how these processes lead to liberation and collective freedom.
Re-rooting together: We reflect on the kind of ancestors we want to become.
