conflict facilitation

Mediation is a way of managing conflict that uses an impartial person/facilitator to help team members to resolve their disagreements. The intention is to ease tensions before they escalate into something more damaging. It is an informal and flexible approach that differs from grievance procedures.

Our methodology includes holding space for the process of visibilising rank and power dynamics between the parties involved, clarifying intention and impact, learning from the emergent action and taking steps towards reparations.

Factors  such as prejudice and stereotypes towards certain racial, gender, differently abled and ethnic groups, whether conscious or unconscious, can lead to discriminatory practices.
